Wang Zhenyi nasceu no ano de 1768, na cidade de Shuxiangmendi, na China. Foi uma astr\u00f4noma, matem\u00e1tica e poeta. Naquela \u00e9poca, sua fam\u00edlia possu\u00eda boas condi\u00e7\u00f5es financeiras, sendo rodeada de estudiosos, servindo de inspira\u00e7\u00e3o para Zhenyi seguir a carreira cient\u00edfica. Essa n\u00e3o era uma situa\u00e7\u00e3o normal para uma mulher chinesa, Zhenyi era uma exce\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Nesse per\u00edodo, os eclipses n\u00e3o eram bem compreendidos. Zhenyi criou um modelo de eclipse utilizando um espelho, uma l\u00e2mpada e um globo que prendeu com cordas em volta de uma mesa. Usando este modelo para provar sua teoria de como a Lua bloqueia nossa vis\u00e3o do Sol durante um eclipse.<\/p>\n

Ela tamb\u00e9m estudou, cientificamente, o calend\u00e1rio chin\u00eas. Usou seu telesc\u00f3pio para observar as estrelas e explicar a rota\u00e7\u00e3o do sistema solar. Al\u00e9m disso, escreveu diversos trabalhos relacionados \u00e0 Matem\u00e1tica, dentre eles o livro \u201cA Explica\u00e7\u00e3o do Teorema de Pit\u00e1goras e a Trigonometria\u201d, que descreve o teorema de modo acess\u00edvel \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Apesar de ter nascido em uma fam\u00edlia rica, Wang Zhenyi observou as injusti\u00e7as sofridas pelos camponeses chineses e utilizou a poesia como uma forma de denunciar o sistema de impostos. Faleceu no ano de 1797, com apenas vinte e nove anos. Mesmo com uma morte t\u00e3o prematura, ainda \u00e9 lembrada como uma das maiores mentes da dinastia Qing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
